When videogames tell stories: A study about the influence of interactivity in narration

In recent years, the continuous technological evolution has led to the development of complex fictional stories in new potentially narrative media, such as videogames, whose characteristics are very different from other traditional narrative media, such as literature and cinema. Fiction in the non-fiction novel. Analysis of the fictional status based on the narrator

Ilustración: "Título"Este trabajo aborda, desde la figura del narrador, el problema que presenta el estatuto ficcional de la narrativa de la no-ficción, cuya indeterminación ha puesto en entredicho el carácter literario de estos relatos, que juegan un papel fundamental en el vigente paradigma literario. El objeto de este artículo es alcanzar unas conclusiones que nos permitan, desde una perspectiva teórica, elaborar una caracterización de las novelas de la no-fición que atienda a la problemática que representa su estatuto ficcional y encontrar un lugar cómodo en la actual poética para este tipo de relatos. Para alcanzar este objetivo, este texto toma como punto de partida el relato no-ficcional hispano y las conclusiones se construyen a partir del análisis del uso del narrador en tres relatos de no-ficción pertenecientes a la tradición hispana, aunque muy diferentes entre sí: Operación masacre (1957), Crónica de una muerte anunciada (1981) y Anatomía de un instante (2009). Este análisis se inserta en el marco de la Teoría de los mundos posibles (1998), propuesta por Tomás Albaladejo, que funciona como herramienta fundamental para determinar la naturaleza del estatuto ficcional de estas obras.This article tackles, from the figure of the narrator, the problem presented by the fictional statute over non-fiction narrative. Its indeterminacy places in question the literary nature of these stories, which play a fundamental part on the vigent literary paradigm. The objective of this article is to reach conclusions that allow us, from a theoretical perspective, to elaborate a characterisation of non-fiction novels that attends to the issue of their fictional statute, and find a comfortable place in today’s poetry for this kind of stories. To reach this objective, this article will take as a starting point the Hispanic non-fictional story and the conclusions to which we arrive after analysing the use of a narrator in three non-fiction stories. These stories, all from Hispanic origins but very different from one another, are: Operación masacre (1957), Crónica de una muerte anunciada (1981) and Anatomía de un instante (2009). This analysis fits on the Teoría de los mundos posibles (1998), proposed by Tomás Albaladejo, which works as a fundamental tool to determine the nature of the fictional statute in these works
